Our purpose now as it always has been is to make exceptionally beautiful period lamps from West Virginia glass, only made in West Virginia.
Local artists hand decorate all glass as it was done fifty years and more ago. All of the glass is still mouth blown as it has been for well over 100 years.
Today, most of the industry is gone though a few small operations still exist throughout the state. Our purpose is to keep alive and well what is becoming a lost art.
Larry Goodwin
Owner
Larry Goodwin took over the shop about 45 years ago from his father-in-law Ralph Cook. Larry built the shop after Ralph retired, ordering enough lamps to make one hundred lamps, and started up again, and is still doing it today.
Larry builds beautiful one-of-a-kind glass lamps and restores and repairs lamps as well.
